1922 Samson Farm Truck
Manufactured by the Samson Tractor Co., Stockton, Ca. General Motors bought the Samson Company and moved production to Jonesville, Wisconsin. G.M.C. intended to offer a full line of equipment for use in the agricultural community. In late 1919, the Model M tractor began production. However, production ceased about two years later. This M Tractor was followed by the production of a Samson truck. There were two types of Samson farm trucks, the Model 15 (3/4 ton) and the Model 25 (1 1/4 ton). Both models used a Chevrolet engine and a three-speed transmission. Today, Samson equipment are very rare and little is known about them.
