1964 Mack Model B67
Manufactured by the Mack Truck Company, Plainfield, New Jersey. This Mack B67 is powered by a 673 cubic inch, turbo charged Mack, Thermodyne diesel engine. It has a Duplex 10 speed transmission with a non-original International rear-end. It was a part of a small fleet owned by Frank Fujikawa, owner of Fujikawa Construction, in Chula Vista, CA. It was used in the construction of the San Diego Trolley Line's expansion to Tijuana. It was set up with a hydraulic pump, or a "wet kit," and operated an end dump for may years. It was parked in Chula Vista in 1985. It had not moved or run until it was purchased by Rick Bernier in 1995. It was restored by Mike Barton and Rick Bernier.
The B Model Mack truck was introduced in 1953 and production ran for thirteen continuous years. The last Mack B came off the production line on April 28, 1966. 124,847 B cabs were produced and all featured the "million mile" cab with utilized construction and a four-point diamond mounting system for maximum safety and driver comfort. The B series was replaced by a new line, which included the U, R, and DM series.
