The Guajome Emporium The Guajome Emporium started out as a small building built by John Fraser, Erik Groscup and Ron Foo some 22 years ago. After being moved, added onto and modified as the ticket booth for the train ride, the Emporium finally saw better days. Termites and dry rot also played a large role in its demise. John, Scott, Mike, and Jack Fraser, along with Rick Bernier, Erik Groscup, Dean Williams, and Ron Foo set out to build a new Emporium. Below is a photo essay on the demolition and construction of the new and improved Guajome Emporium. The first step in the making was to turn the Emporium 90 degrees so it would be facing the street. After this, the demolition work started in earnest... finishing what rot and termites did not do for us! The photos here are the orginal resolution as shot by our 3 or 5 MP cameras. To see more detail right click on the item and then "View Image" Readying the building for a 90 degree turn.
